Friday 8th November  

This Friday 8th November, at 18:00, the inauguration of the artistic lighting in Martínez Alejos street and the Porrat in Emilio Ortuño street will take place.  Afterwards, at 19:00, the Cortes de Honor will proceed to the inauguration of the fairgrounds.  At 22:00, the Entrada de Penyas will begin, a parade in which the penyas that form part of the Associació de Penyes Verge del Sofratge will take part.  

Saturday 9th November  

On Saturday at 10:00 the Holy Mass will take place, followed by the singing of the Gozos a la Virgen del Sufragio and at 12:00 the general ringing of the bells, the official start of the Fiestas Mayores Patronales.  Immediately afterwards, from the Plaza de San Jaime and going through the whole of the city centre, the entrance of the bands of music, which will end in the Plaza SS MM los Reyes de España.  At 17:00, will be the staging of the discovery of the patron saint of Benidorm, the Virgen del Sufragio on the Poniente beach.  Once the staging of the discovery has finished, at 18:30 the solemn pilgrimage and offering of flowers to the Virgen del Sufragio will begin.  At 01:00, in the Óscar Esplà Auditorium, the Granera Football Tournament will be played.  Concerts:  00:15h, from the Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España – Charanga accompanied by the Comisión de Fiestas. 23:00h, Huerto de Colón – Pop Rock groups ‘Deprisa y corriendo’. 23:30h, Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España – ZAREY (urban music) and local DJ’s. 

Sunday 10th November  

The day will begin with the awakening at 08:00, followed by a popular hot chocolate in the Plaza SS MM los Reyes de España at 09:00.  At 11:00, a large children’s playground in the Plaza SS MM los Reyes de España.  At 11:30, mass in honour of the Virgen del Sufragio.  At 14:00, Mascletà dedicated to the patron saint in Av. Jaime I, by Pirotecnia Valenciana.  From 17:00, afternoon entertainment with the group ‘Trampa’ in the Huerto de Colón.  In the evening, from 19:30, the Solemn Procession in Honour of the Virgen del Sufragio will begin, starting in C/ Mayor and ending in the Plaza de San Jaime with the lighting of the Virgen del Sufragio’s stole.  At 23:00, traditional singing of ‘COPLETES’ in honour of the Virgen del Sufragio.  Concerts:  23:00h, Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España – Orquesta Mónaco Party. 22:30h, Huerto de Colón – Grupo Carne de Cañón. 

Monday 11th November  

The day will begin with the awakening at 08:00, followed by a popular hot chocolate in the Plaza SS MM Reyes de España at 09:00.  At 11:00, a large children’s playground in the Plaza SS MM los Reyes de España.  At 11:30, Mass in honour of St James the Apostle.  At 14:00, Mascletà dedicated to the patron saint of the city, San Jaime Apóstol, in Av. Jaime I, by Pirotecnia TURIS.  In the afternoon, from 19:30 onwards, the Solemn Procession in San Jaime Apóstol will begin and end in the Plaza de San Jaime with the lighting of the St. Jaime stampeta.  On Monday night and after all the concerts, there will be the Correfocs, in charge of Espectáculos Rey.  Concerts:  17:00h, Huerto de Colón – Children’s musical Divertiland. 22:30h, Huerto de Colón – Magnificent Marlene Orchestra. 00:00h, Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España – Concert by Carlos Baute. 

Tuesday 12th November  

The day will begin with the awakening at 08:00, followed by a popular chocolate bar in the Plaza SS MM Reyes de España at 09:00.  Mass in honour of the deceased will begin at 10:30h.  At 11:00, large children’s playground in the Plaza SS MM los Reyes de España.  At 14:00, Mascletà in Av. Jaime I, by Pirotecnia Valenciana.  In the afternoon, the Grand Parade of Humour will take place, which will start at 19:00 and will go along Venus, Ruzafa and Martínez Alejos streets.  At 23:30, a great night-time Mascletà, in Av. Jaime I, by Pirotecnia Valenciana.  Concerts:  00:00h, Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España – Concert Tribute to Estopa ‘Cacho a Cacho’. 01:30h, Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España – Concert by Jose Coll. 

Wednesday 13th November  

At 11:00 the ‘Festa de les Festes’ (Festival of the Festivities) will begin, a gathering of all the festive entities that will begin in Plaza Neptuno and will go in parade to the Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España, where the Commission will organise a wine of honour as an act of festive brotherhood.  At 13:00, children’s Mascletà (firework display) and candy fireworks in the Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España.  At 14:00, Mascletà in Av. Jaime I, by Piromedia Hermano Sirvent.  At 18:00, the Parade of Floats will begin and will end with a Fireworks Display in the Parque de Elche area, by Pirotecnia Valenciana.   

Thursday 14 November 

Benidorm British Fancy Dress Party 2024  If you want to enjoy a spectacular day of fun, colour and atmosphere on the Thursday 14th of November you have a date not to be missed, the British Fancy Dress Party in Benidorm, at about Midday. Centered in the Playa Levante around "Calle Gerona and the "British Square" live stage is out side Morgans Tavern, a day for everyone to participate and dress up.
